This 1912 seating chart shows 585 reserved seats.   This was before the "inner" lobby was built in the mid 1930's
to create a barrier between the auditorium and the light and sounds from the outer lobby and front doors.  The
acoustic treatment and mysterious Mid Eastern palace theme were added to the interior décor during that phase
of the remodeling.   The theater had become a full time movie theater in 1929 and was renamed the Ritz just after
the remodeling.   The first of two overhanging marquees was also erected only to be replaced by the current and
much more exciting Art Deco marquee and its 650 chasing lights in the mid 1940's.  The numbered seating was
abandoned when the original wooden seats were replaced during this time.
